Working together underpins everything we do - and we always work in partnership to deliver our overseas work. Our partners are an important part of the team and we couldn’t deliver our projects without them. They are our link into the communities that we work with. They understand the culture and the issues and support us in designing projects that can really make a difference.
MYWA have been a community development organisation in the Nilgris hills in Tamil Nadu, South India since the 1970’s. They help tribal people to reach a better standard of living whilst learning about their rights. MYWA also raise awareness into equality to the wider community so that tribal people can integrate safely and fairly amongst wider society.

WCDT - this stands for Weaker Community Development Trust, WCDT work in Villupuram district in Tamil Nadu. Their vision is to eradicate poverty, illiteracy and unemployment. WCDT programmes help communities develop skills and build sustainable incomes. They campaign for education for all children and want to see an end to discrimination in their society.

Kankaylay Islamic primary school is based in Hastings, Waterloo in Freetown - the capital city of Sierra Leone. The children in the area are lacking the very basic things to help them gain an education. Many children do not attend school due to poverty and ill health. Kankaylay are leading the way with their attitude towards engagement and holistic learning. They help the children learn traditional subjects and work on developing confidence, leadership skills and life skills.

New Future for the Poor Organisation (NFPO) was set up to help the poorest people in Siem Reap achieve their potential. They work with the poor, the disabled, and the vulnerable in poor, rural areas. They creating and promoting the rights of the most needy.
This is David - he runs the organisation and set up NFPO. He is a buddhist monk and lives in the community helping people to get out of poverty.
TOCIDA work in the Tororo district of eastern Uganda. They are committed to improving the lives of the local people and protecting the traditional culture. They run education and community development projects with a focus on income generating activities giving equal access to sustainable livelihoods to all.
TOCIDA support young people with disabilities to access education, in collaboration with SAFE they have build and equipped a library and are looking to start an IT hub.
