Our deliciously loved up friends Lotte and David are getting married this year, and guess what? They want to give their wedding donations to The SAFE Foundation!
Being the kind and special people that they are, they want to celebrate their love by making it a charitable occassion, and have set up a justgiving page to make it easy for their friends, family, guests and others to donate.
Click here to see their page and support them on their journey through lovesville and to help us out, too!
Thanks Lotte and David!

The perks of being a director of an International Development NGO are that we get to meet AMAZING people all round the world. Yeah!
So that you can experience the lushness of what we get to do, we’re going to make a wicked documentary for you, that will give you a sneak peek into the lives of our Indian partner projects.
Our lush friend, Leo is a film maker and he knows his stuff, so on our next field mission to India, we’re going to put him and his camera into our suitcases and let him run wild around the jungle doing his thang. Watch this space for a filmy wilmy woo very soon, people!

You are cordially invited to our annual ball which will be held at The Holland House Hotel on Saturday 14th May.
The theme of the ball will be a Mad Hatters dream come true. All the best bits of the most famous tea party known to man.
Dress to impress, position something splendid for your head attire, and you will be fit for the Queen.
Included in the price of your ticket you will be a scrumptious three course meal, and we will provide you with red and white wine to accompany your food.
During the evening we will hold an auction and raffle with the usual mix of amazing things. The lots will be made public before hand so you can be prepared for what we have on offer.
What with a band, disco and raffle to add to the evening, you will be sure to have a ball and a half.
Tickets are priced at £40. A little more than we usually charge, but unfortunately hotels are struggling, so we have had to take the brunt of some of this.
The hotel are offering double rooms, with use of the spa facilities for £95, but only for a limited time. So if you want to stay the night, book early with them to avoid disappointment.
Contact the SAFE family for more details or email louise@thesafefoundation.co.uk (07902 030378) or rae@thesafefoundation.co.uk with any ticket or event requests.
Please remember, every penny we make during the evening will benefit our projects, so your attendance is both needed and valued. We can’t have support, aid, fun and education without you there!

Everyone who came to the SAFE yurt in town over the weekend – YOU’RE AMAZING! We had such a productive and happy time and we officially love you, Cardiff!

The S.A.F.E. Foundation will be out and about in Cardiff on the weekend of Jan 22nd and 23rd, in the yurt, inviting people to come in, chat about the world, help us with our research and play some games for charity.
If you’re in town, take a break from January sales shopping to come say hi, help us out or just find out what we’re doing. We love meeting new people as well as seeing our old friends, too.

After a series of techie glitches and lots of head scratching, SAFE is back online with big smiles on our cheeky little faces.
We’re happy because the beautiful folk at the British Council have awarded us some dollar to bring our development awareness raising programmes to Cardiff, South East Wales and South West England. Communities in these areas who don’t normally get access to programmes like these will get a chance to come visit SAFE while the workshops are running and learn about some important issues like immigration, poverty and other things that affect not only people overseas, but us here, too. The whole activity is funded with a grant from Global Community Links, funded by UKaid from the Department for International Development
Big up British Council – thank you a million!
If you want some more information about what, when, where, why, how, who, then please get in touch with us, info@thesafefoundation.co.uk
